Arevut Allyship Network

This initiative aims to strengthen the bonds between Jews, Christians, Hindus, Muslims and others on an ongoing basis, highlighting and supporting key partner events in the region, co-creating social, educational or service events, and enrolling bystanders into active participation to strengthen the spirit of togetherness.

The “epicenter” of this initiative is in San Mateo in California. Activities are being held across the surrounding Bay Area.

  • 7 events since 2025
  • 200+ participants engaged
  • Over a dozen community partners are supporting the budding movement
  • Example Topics Discussed: “Discovering the Magic of Shabbat”, “Different Traditions and Faiths, Shared Values” and “We are all Nature”
Our Vision

A Bay Area where thousands of grassroots individuals and dozens of organizations build authentic, lasting relationships grounded in the values of humility, active care, and mutual responsibility across lines of faith, race, and identity – and with the Jewish and Israeli community at its heart.

Our Mission

Arevut does not compete with or replace existing community organizations. We amplify and connect them. We organize our own events, but we’re also an aggregator of community-building events held by a growing network of partners, united by shared values – and an activator that moves participants from inspiration into caring action for one another.

How We Work

Every Arevut event is designed around three intentions:

  1. Build Relationships – Bringing together diverse people over food and meaningful conversation, so that strangers become neighbors and neighbors become allies.
  2. Educate – Creating structured dialogue that deepens mutual understanding across faith traditions, cultures, and lived experiences.
  3. Move Into Action – Channeling connection into concrete acts of care: showing up for each other’s events, organizations, and communities in times of need and celebration alike.

Our events have included interfaith potlucks, Unity Suppers with guided conversation, and an interfaith comedy night – each one a different expression of the same core belief: that shared humanity is most powerfully discovered not in lecture halls, but around tables.
